Lot # 1533.1. The announcers did not know much either. They read cute lines such as 'these were called Johnny Poppers due to the popping sounds that they made', and 'these run so slowly that you can hear the RPMs.' Now, the worst comment was this.
'This model is known as the beast of the two cylinder tractors.' Excuse me, the 530 was the smallest Waterloo, not the largest.
The 830 was the largest. They also said that there were only around 2,000 built in 1960 which is correct. I only hope that no one tries to use this rediculous sale price to further run up the price of 530s. It did not have much on it, 3 point with top link and flat top fenders, that was about it. I have a 530 and several others that I should sell sometime. There's hope for my retirement fund yet!

The one that sold was not LP, not All Fuel, no wide front, no dual hydraulics, even had disk rears. In other words, it is not worth $20,000 on the open market even if was special, and the one that sold was about as plain as they come except for the fenders and 3 point which folks typically pull off and sell separately. They can spend their money however they want. I just hope they have some left to spread some my direction!
These same people are over paying for the cars they buy too. Just all part of the atmosphere at that sale.
